A July 18 BBC Newsvideo highlighted the work being done at the Lab’s Joint Center for Artificial Photosynthesis and included interviews with Joel Ager and Frances Houle.
A July 17 PBS News Hour story featured efforts led by Tanja Woyke and Chris Rinke at the Joint Genome Institute to explore “microbial dark matter.” Nature, Scientific American, the French Tribune, The Scientist, Science magazine, Huffington Post, the BBC, and Canadian Broadcasting where some of the many other news outlets covering their work.
A July 16 National Geographic story on California’s energy use cited recent work by the Lab.
A July 14 Economic Times story featured a new magnet planned for the Large Hadron Collider and quoted the Lab’s GianLuca Sabbi. The International Business Times and Daily Cal also covered the effort.
A July 14 Daily Calstory featured work led by the Lab’s Robert Ritchie showing how a lack of vitamin D might lead to the aging of bones.
A July 13 The Motley Fool story on Boeing’s Dreamliner aircraft quoted the Lab’s EltonCairns.
