A July 12 Live Sciencestory featured a new magnet planned for the Large Hadron Collider. The story quoted the Lab’s GianLuca Sabbi, who helped design the magnet. Symmetrymagazine ran a similar story.
A July 11 San Jose Mercury News story on geothermal seismic activity quoted the Lab’s Ernest Majer.
A July 11 RedOrbitstory featured work led by the Lab’s Robert Ritchie showing how a lack of vitamin D might lead to the aging of bones. ANI News, Examiner.com, Zee News andtheCambodian Times covered the work.
