A Nov. 20 Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology Newsstory featured research on a novel nanocarrier for brain cancer therapy, work led by Ting Xu and which appeared in a recent lab news release.

A Nov. 20 IEEE Spectrum story on novel ways to cool computer chips quoted RaviPrasher and Frank Ogletree.

A Nov. 17 San Jose Mercury News story highlighted the recent opening of Wang Hall and quoted Lab Director Paul Alivisatos. KQED, GCN.com, ExecutiveGov.com and Patch also covered the story. A lab news release announced the building’s opening last week.

A Nov. 17 Washington Post story on leasing solar panels noted a recent lab studyshowing how PVs add value to homes.

A Nov. 17 Discovery News story on stellar spirals hiding exoplanets quoted RuobingDong, who conducted recent research in this area.

A Nov. 17 Wall Street Journal story on the Top 500 List of fastest supercomputers quoted Horst Simon. Simon and Erich Strohmaierare co-authors of the Top 500 list. Popular Science, Fortune, PCMag, Time magazine and many others also covered the list’s release.

A Nov. 15 Daily Cal story on the value that solar panels add to a home’s price quoted Ben Hoen, a co-author on a recent study showing those results, work covered by a recent lab news release.

A Nov. 11 Yellowstone Insider story highlighted work by lab startup, CinderBIO, led by Jill Fuss and Steve Yannone. Their work involves the use of Yellowstone National Park extremophiles and was also covered by NewWest.net and Phys.org. Their work first appeared in a lab news release.
