A Dec. 1 Forbes story featured work on an invisibility cloak by the Lab’s Xiang Zhang. His work was first publicized in a lab news release.
A Dec. 1 Architect Magazine story highlighted work between Singapore and the Lab in creating a building test facility and quoted the Lab’s Cindy Regnier.
A Dec. 1 EDN.comstory, based on a Lab news release, looked at the development of a 2D semiconductor led by Xiang Zhang.
On Nov. 30 Energy Manager featured Lab startup CinderBio, led by Steve Yannone and Jill Fuss, which is producing a new class of enzymes from extremophile microbes. CinderBio was featured in a recent Lab news release.
A Nov. 28 Gizmagstory featured work on a monolayer semiconductor led by the Lab’s Ali Javey. EE Times also covered his work
A Nov. 25 Associated Press story on adding value to your home cited a recent report by Ben Hoen showing the value added by installing solar panels. The story has appeared in numerous places including the Washington Post, New York Times, San Francisco Chronicle and many other outlets.
A Nov. 25 KQED Quest story on dark energy prominently featured the Lab’s SaulPerlmutter.
A Nov.25 Symmetry story on a new lead ion experiment at the Large Hadron Collider quoted the Lab’s Peter Jacobs.
A Nov. 24 Associated Press story on better batteries quoted the Lab’s Venkat Srinivasan. The story has appeared in dozens of outlets including the Washington Post, Sacramento Bee, China Post, ABC News, and numerous others.
A Nov. 23 Huffington Post story on China’s coal use quoted David Fridley.Radio Free Asia ran a similar story quoting Fridley.
A Nov. 23 National Geographic story looked at the unusual origins of plutonium’s name by Glenn Seaborg for the Periodic Table.
A Nov. 23 Phys.org feature looked at a new series of energy reports being led by the lab. The story was based on a recent Lab news release.
