An Oct. 26 Wired story looked at work at the Advanced Light Source that is revealing mysterious writings in mummy coffins.

An Oct. 26 Physics World story on record-breaking laser-electron interactions quoted Wim Leemans.

An Oct. 26 Daily Cal story noted the discovery of thousands of new microbes, work led by Jill Banfield. The story also quoted Adam Arkin with similar stories appearing on MSN Taiwan, Seeker.com and Nature World News.

An Oct. 25 Science News story on the search for dark matter quoted Kathryn Zurek.
