Scientific American’sBest Physics Papers of 2014 list included one by Wim Leemans on the lab’s compact accelerator, BELLA (#9 on list). BELLA also made the APS Top Ten Physics News Stories of 2014, as did the lab-involved neutrino project, IceCube.
