A March 8 NPR Ted Radio Hour show focused on the mysteries of the expanding universe and included the Lab’s Saul Perlmutter(at the 5:30 mark of the show).
A March 7 USA Todaystory noted a recent Lab study led by Evan Mills showing how the insurance industry is paying more attention to climate change.
A March 7 New Scientiststory on a renewed focus on brain research quoted Lab Director Paul Alivisatos. Similar stories ran in Science magazine and The Economist.
A March 7 HPC Wirestory noted the Lab’s involvement in developing cutting-edge programming languages for high performance computing.
A March 7 Electric Light & Power story featured a report led by the Lab’s Mark Bolinger showing the long-term benefits of wind power. RenewableEnergyFocusran a similar story.
A March 5 Associated Press story on the rise in costs of power grids quoted the Lab’s Joe Eto.
On March 5 the New York Times ran an obituary on Nobel laureate Donald Glaser. Numerous other papers around the country ran similar obituaries.

A March 4 Wiredmagazine story on math’s reliance on computers quoted the Lab’s David Bailey.
A March 3 Toronto Globe and Mail story on osteoarthritis and running cited research led by the Lab’s Paul Williams. The Examiner, Runner’s World, Outsidemagazine and The Active Times ran similar stories on his work.
