A March 2 Energy Business Review story, based on a Lab news release, highlighted two Lab geothermal projects recently funded by the California Energy Commission. Stories also appeared in Technology.org, ThinkGeoenergy.comand ECN Magazine. Kurt Nihei and Jonny Rutqvist are leading the projects.

A Feb. 27 Forbesstory looked at a report on the future of wind energy quoting lead author Ryan Wiser.
On Feb. 27 Federal News Radio highlighted a new 360-degree video of the Molecular Foundry.
A Feb. 27 UPI News story highlighted efforts to measure the risk of meteors, work being done at the Advanced Light Source by Harold Barnard. Space Daily also covered the story, which was based on a Lab news release. On Feb. 28, Space Daily also ran a story on an overview of work at the ALS helping NASA prepare for future space missions.
A recent Asia-Pacific Biotech News story noted a $5 million donation from Jim and Marilyn Simons to help research efforts and create the Lab’s inaugural endowed chair. The story, based on a Lab news release, also mentioned inaugural chair holder, Jiang Lin.
