An April 17 Nature World News story featured a significant advance in artificial photosynthesis, work led by Peidong Yang. His work was extensively covered, including by the Business Standard, International Business Times, Sci-News, TechTimes and many others.

An April 17 Yahoo News story on the finding of a radioactive sunken aircraft carrier off the California coast quoted Kai Vetter.The San Francisco Chronicle ran a similar story.

An April 16 TIMEmagazine story on a list of their 100 Most Influential people included Jennifer Doudna in the Pioneers category for her work on a gene editing technique.

An April 16 San Francisco Chronicle story on finding alien life quoted Joint Genome Institute’s Eddy Rubin.

An April 16 R&D.comfeature highlighted the development of an electrolyte genome led by Kristin Persson.

An April 15 ScienceBlog.comstory highlighted work on a new way to test cool roofing performance, work led by Ronnen Levinson. R&D.com, Buildings.com, ScienceNewsline and others included reports of the work.

An April 13 IEEE Spectrum story featured research led by Sam Saxena showing electric vehicle batteries may last longer than previously thought. Car Connectionand FierceEnergy.com also ran stories.

An April 13 Bloombergstory on the race to build a better battery quoted VenkatSrinivasan. He was also quoted in an April 10 Australian Business Review story on Google’s efforts to build a better battery.

An April 13 San Francisco Chronicle story noted Graham Fleming’s departure from a position on campus. The Daily Cal also reported the news.

An April 13 Daily Calstory noted the lab’s involvement in the restart of the Large Hadron Collider.

An April 11 TechieNewsstory looked at findings from the CUORE collaboration and quoted Yury Kolomensky. Space Daily ran a similar story.

The latest issue of Innovationmagazine includes a Q&A with battery researcher Gao Liu.
